Das Zentrum?
As a member of Das Zentrum:
- You can visit our library and meeting room, and read any of our library material including the latest editions of magazines such as Der Spiegel, Stern and Brigitte
- You receive a library card and can borrow books, DVDs, magazines, German language learning material and other items from the library (other than from the reference section)
- You can join our language and conversation classes (additional fees apply)
- You receive email newsletters with details of upcoming events such as talks, film evenings, dinners, and other social events
- You receive a member discount when attending most of our events
- You have exclusive access to draws of any free admission tickets received from promoters of cultural events, such as film festivals
- You will meet people from various backgrounds, all with an interest in the German speaking regions of Europe.
How to join Das Zentrum:
Please complete and submit the membership application below or complete a form at our premises or at one of our events.
Payments can be made by direct transfer – get in touch for details.
You can also make payment by cheque, money order or in cash if paying in person. For membership enquiries please phone 02 6230 0441 during opening hours, or get in touch via our contact us page.
Membership Costs:
Full Membership$50
Concessional Membership$30
The concession rate is available for full-time students up to 26 years of age, as well as age/disability/health care/seniors and pension card holders.
You can join at any time throughout the year.
