Class is now booked out. This course is a continuation of the Das Zentrum A1.2 classes from last year and is open to both new and current students. We will start with a revision of Level A1.2 and then move towards level A2 as the course progresses.

We cover a wide range of topics, from setting up home, travelling and navigating public transport, health and wellbeing, studying and working in Germany, plans for the future and more. The course covers foundational grammar concepts and vocabulary for levels A1 and A2. We will be practicing all these concepts both in book based exercises and through role play and active use of German language in the classroom.
We use Akademie Deutsch series as our main textbooks. We will be starting with Chapter 7 in Akademie Deutsch A1+ and then use Akademie Deutsch A2+ as the course progresses. Textbooks are not included in the course fee and need to be purchased separately.
TIMES:
We will be meeting once a week on a Thursday even from 6:15pm – 7:45pm. Our first session will be on 22 Feb 2024. The last day of the course is 23 May 2024. No classes on 4 April (Easter holidays) and 25 April (Anzac Day).
COURSE FEE: $ 350 (includes 12 sessions and $50 annual membership)
Students who are eligible for concessional membership or members who are already financial beyond 31 March 2024 will receive a refund of the applicable amount of the membership fee.
For insurance reasons, students must be a member of Das Zentrum to be eligible to join the class.
