German Language Classes

Our language classes are for adults and are open to members of Das Zentrum.

Our classes are run by qualified and experienced language teachers and focus on language skills, communication and culture.

We keep class sizes small (between 10 and 18 students) which gives everyone plenty of opportunity to actively participate. Classes are held in our library in Das Zentrum, Griffin Centre, Genge Street, Canberra. Our language classes are a lot of fun - why not join us?

We use "Akademie Deutsch" from Hueber publishing as our textbook. The textbook is available as a digital download or as a paper copy. Textbooks are not included in course fees and need to be ordered separately. Your teacher will let you know where and how you can purchase the textbook.

You are welcome to have a look at the textbooks at the Das Zentrum library reference section. Please note that the textbooks are not available to be borrowed, they are for reference only.

Please note: For insurance reasons, you must be or become a member to be able to join a class or conversation group. If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed, please choose the non-member option for class sign-up, which includes the fee for annual membership.
