This beginner course is for absolute beginner students who have no prior knowledge of German. This is a short course (5 sessions). The follow up course in Term 4 will be a full length course (10 sessions).
Join us for our monthly Kaffeeklatsch on 29 August 2026 at 1:30PM at Das Zentrum! "Kaffeeklatsch" - The German ritual of catching up over coffee and cake (or biscuits) is the perfect occasion to meet, chat and make new friends. Please bring a small plate of nibbles, fruit or biscuits to share! We will provide hot drinks (coffee and tea).
Our library will open at the same time for our end of year borrowing bonanza - the perfect opportunity to browse and borrow from our collection of books, magazines and DVDs. Borrowing is free for members of Das Zentrum.

"Der Junge muss an die frische Luft" by Oscar winning film director Caroline Link features the autobiography of German comedian Hape Kerkeling. It was one of the most successful films of 2018, when it was first released in German cinemas and won multiple awards, including in three categories of the German Film Prize.
