August Canberra German Book Club

Join us for the second semester of book club! Our August book is Sten Nadolny's cult novel "Die Entdeckung der Langsamkeit", a book that is just as current now as it was when it was first published in the 1990s.

We will be reading a range of interesting German books that we discuss in German.

You need Level B2+ German to get the most out of book club.

We have two copies of this book in our library!

If you are keen to join our book club but don't have time to read the first book - no problem, simply sign up and come along.

German Street Libraries are coming to town

Thanks to the Multicultural Inclusion Grant Program of the ACT, Das Zentrum is preparing German Street libraries to be placed all over Canberra. We will reveal the first spots shortly.
