Das Zentrum Canberra Free Raffle Terms and Conditions

​Join in our free raffle to win two movie tickets for a movie shown at the 2025 German Film Festival Canberra! 

1. Eligibility:
This raffle is open only to current members of Das Zentrum, Canberra. If you are not a current member, you can register for membership at Das Zentrum using the link provided. Membership is open to all adults upon registration and payment of the annual membership fee. Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Directors and committee members of Das Zentrum, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter:
No purchase necessary. To enter, complete the entry form available on the Das Zentrum website. Only one entry per person is allowed. Entries must be received by 2 May 2025, 11:59PM..

3. Prize:
10 winners will receive a double movie ticket each. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the sponsor's sole discretion. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.Tickets are valid for movies shown as part of the 2025 German Film Festival at Palace Electric Cinema in Canberra and may not cover entry to special events during the film festival. Das Zentrum is not responsible for how and when tickets can be used. Ticket conditions of use are set by Palace Electric Cinema Canberra. 4. Drawing:
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Winner Notification:
The winners will be notified via email. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

6. Publicity:
Except where prohibited, participation in the raffle constitutes the winner's consent to the sponsor's use of the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

7. General Conditions:
Das Zentrum reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Das Zentrum's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the raffle, as determined by Das Zentrum in its sole discretion. Das Zentrum reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the raffle or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

8. Limitation of Liability:
By participating in this raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Das Zentrum, its officers, directors, volunteers, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the raffle or receipt or use of any prize.

9. Disputes:
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Canberra, ACT.
