The string quartets by Haydn and Beethoven have a timeless quality and are at the heart of the chamber music repertoire. These pieces are complemented by Australian composer Cathy Milliken's new work Sonnet of an Emigrant weaves together the poetry of Bertholt Brecht, the sounds of a string quartet, and the ever-relevant theme of searching for your home.
